West Seattle House 1

Project overview

The West Seattle House 1 project was a schematic design for a 2,200 square foot single-family residence. The design was driven by the unique vision of the owner, a graphic artist, who sought a home with sleek, modern lines and a layered, dynamic aesthetic. The design concept focused on sharp, clean lines and a minimalist approach, creating a bold visual impact while maintaining functional spaces.

During the design process, SketchUp was used as the primary tool to explore the spatial relationships and to visualize the geometric precision of the design. While the project remained in the schematic phase and was ultimately not completed, the conceptual design stands as an exploration in modern architecture, with an emphasis on form, simplicity, and the owner's artistic vision.

The property remains as it was at the conclusion of the schematic design phase, preserving the conceptual exploration of the project.
