Edmonds House

Project overview

The Edmonds House involved the design of a new 3-level, 4,200 square foot, single-family residential home located in Edmonds, Washington. Inspired by the iconic form of a lighthouse, the design of the home was envisioned to overlook the scenic Edmonds waterfront, creating a striking and functional presence on the site.

The scope of work included a full demolition of the existing home, while maintaining the original footprint and setbacks to carefully navigate an environmental critical area located on the property. The design process included schematic design, design development, and the creation of comprehensive construction documentation and specifications. Throughout the project, we managed the permitting process and provided construction administration services to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Key contributions to the project included site investigations and forensics, as-built documentation, programming, schematic and design development, entitlement design review and approval, construction documentation, specification development, permitting, and ongoing construction administration.
