The Broadmoor House was a renovation of a 3-level, 3,730 square foot mid-century modern split-level single-family residence, originally constructed in 1954, located in the desirable Broadmoor neighborhood of Seattle. The goal of the project was to modernize the home while preserving its original mid-century design elements.
The scope of work included a comprehensive update to the kitchen and bathrooms, the renovation of two exterior patios, a new roof, and a complete overhaul of both interior and exterior finishes. The design updates aimed to blend modern functionality with the home’s classic architectural style, while enhancing the living spaces and outdoor areas.
Key contributions to the project included site investigations and forensics, as-built documentation, programming, design development, creation of construction documents, submission and approval through the Broadmoor HOA design review process, and construction administration services to ensure a successful renovation.
