Project overview
Completed in 1928 and renovated in 2001, 215 Fremont is a 9-story, Class A office building in San Francisco, offering approximately 19,000 square feet of commercial space at the ground level, along with two levels of underground parking.
The scope of work involved conducting a Tier 3 Comprehensive Facade Inspection in accordance with San Francisco’s ordinance requirements for buildings with five or more stories. This inspection encompassed a thorough review of the building's entire facade, including cladding systems, flashing assemblies, curtain walls, and punched windows. In addition, the investigation included a forensic analysis of reported leaks at the roof terrace doors and roofing systems.
Key contributions included building investigations and forensics, as-built documentation, development of a detailed report, and the creation of a comprehensive repair scope of work, including recommendations for facade, roof terrace, and roofing system repairs.
